The American standard plug adaptor is the latest
converter plug from the Powerconnections range. This product also
converts Japanese and Chinese plugs to BS1363.
Following the hugely successful
Euroconverter plug, this new product offers a simple, safe and
fast method of product conversion, without the need to strip cable
or remove existing plugs.
The product converts both the non-polarised and polarised 2 pin plug. This can only be located
the correct way round and, once firmly held in the guide strip,
the lid is closed, making the connection and securing the plug.
A simple screw retainer is then tightened. Please note: After fully assembling, a 'pull test' safey check is recommended (Not all Japanese plugs are suitable).
Extremely useful in alternative
markets the converter plug can be fitted in a moment, on a production
line, or at its final destination.
